Dear Greens and Supporters,
Please join us for our 2020 Annual Holiday Party! Due to the pandemic, it will be held online. We’ll have both games and breakout groups (and just like at an in-person party, you can go back and forth between the groups!). Some of the possible games we can try include Master Word, Odddassity, Charades, Would You Rather?, and trivia games such as Things They Don’t Teach You In School — and more! And for the breakout groups, they can either be entirely informal, or we currently have four suggested possible initial Topics, as listed below.
We’ll be holding the party on Zoom — please see the access info further below. Put it on your calendars now — don’t miss our very first online Holiday Party, starting at 6:30 pm this coming Sunday, December 13th!
Some Possible Topics for Breakout Groups:
*** The Mess We’re In — In the County and in the World
Including the economic crisis, the pandemic, the political duopoly, climate change, and more
*** Building the County Green Party
Including using technology, requiring dues, and projects to involve people in
*** Police Killings, Institutional Racism, and the Structures of Racialization
*** “Fun” group: TV, movies, etc.
