Please help distribute Voter Guides around town and/or at events!

gpac_vg_2012

Hi everyone!,

Our Voter Guides have arrived, so it’s time to get started with distributing them around town! (In fact, a number of “absentee voters” will probably be casting their ballots this weekend). You can just take some of them along with you, wherever you happen to be going and leave them at cafes, bookstores, laundromats, libraries, etc. — wherever other free papers are given away! Or, you can pass them out in front of grocery stores, at farmer’s markets, at BART stations (especially during commute hours), or anywhere else where lots of people are passing by. In addition, you can also pass them out as people arrive for an event — below is a list of some of them in the Berkeley/Oakland area. (Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before the event starts in order to catch people!).

As you may have heard, more and more people are voting by mail these days, so it’s important for us to now distribute lots of Voter Guides just as soon as is possible! If you live in (or near) Oakland, please call Jan Arnold at 436-3722 to arrange to get some Voter Guides. If you live in (or near) Berkeley, please call our office phone number, 644-2293, at least 24 hours in advance and we’ll then leave the Voter Guides for you to pick up on the porch of our office at 2022 Blake St. in Berkeley. (Note: Please specify the number of voter guides you’d like).

So, please call us right away and help distribute our Voter Guides!

Thank you very much!,
