Rally there at 1:30 pm includes Aztec dancers, Francisco Herrera, ALICE WALKER!
Can you name the 8 nations the US is currently waging war on? Every war dollar is a theft from health, education, housing, and ecological sustainability.
Every war severely violates not only the present but also future generations.
This is the first anti-war rally in some time. The public needs to bring some sanity back to the war discussion before the tweeter in chief starts another war.
Rally organizers wisely connect the dots between war and oppression.

You are welcome to march with us. Look for GREEN on the left side (facing the stage/lake) and in front of the stage at the Lake Merritt Amphitheater, towards the front.
We will also be “tabling” at Oscar Grant Plaza (east and north of City Hall), starting at 12:30 pm. We’d love to have you volunteer to help us at the table! (We haven’t been given our location yet, so please try to arrive by 1:15 pm, before the marchers get there, so you can find us!).
