The Occupation of the American Mind
Film screening and community discussion facilitated by Dennis Bernstein, host of KPFA’s Flashpoints
For many decades American media outlets have consistently and systematically suppressed the realities of the Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land and mistreatment of the Palestinian people. Key questions include, what has been suppressed, and how has such a near-complete media blackout been achieved? This event will also contribute to the need to affirm principles of free speech, not just from the “alt-right”, but also in liberal academic institutions and media as well.
Community discussion will be facilitated by Dennis Bernstein, Flashpoints Radio-KPFA.
