Hi Greens!,

We are holding four “signing parties” for our four statewide candidates during the first two weeks of January (please see the schedule below).  [Our four statewide candidates are: Luis Rodriguez (Governor), Laura Wells (Controller), Ellen Brown (Treasurer) and David Curtis (Secretary of State).].  It only takes about 5 minutes to sign the papers for our candidates, so they can save having to pay approximately $3,000 each, to be listed on next year’s ballot.  (However, if you can also ask some of your friends, neighbors, and/or co-workers to sign during the next month, that will also be a huge help — just pick up some of the forms at one of the signing parties — any registered voter can sign the forms!).

We really need for all of you to help out with this, so please attend one of the four Signing Parties listed below!  (And if you have any questions, just call the Green Party office, at (510) 644-2293).

Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2:00 to 5:00 pm — Maxine Daniel’s house, 18690 Walnut Rd., Castro Valley

Saturday, Jan. 4, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm — “All day” at Laura Wells’s community house, 351 Santa Clara Ave., Oakland.  (2 blocks northwest of the Grand Lake Theater).

Monday, Jan. 6, 6:00 to 9:00 pm — Samsarah Morgan’s house, 370 45th St., Oakland.  (2 blocks northwest of Oakland Tech).

Saturday, Jan. 11, 3:00 to 5:00 pm — The “Grassroots House”, 2022 Blake St., Berkeley.  (Halfway between the Ashby and downtown Berkeley BART stations.  This location is wheelchair-accessible, but the above 3 aren’t).
